Prospects for medical engineers

The Conference for Students and Young Professionals: Open the World of Medical Technology. Career Prospects in Medical Engineering took place within a cnfernce programme of Russian Healthcare Week 2024. It was organised by Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education of the Russian Ministry of Health and EXPOCENTRE AO.

The conference participants were students of medical colleges and universities, representatives of industry companies and universities. Graduates of Sechenov University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and MISIS told the audience about successful cases of work in various companies, their achievements and difficulties of studying at universities. In their turn, representatives of industry companies presented their vacancies to the students, indicated what qualities they value in their employees and what opportunities for internships and employment exist.

The conference organisers gave the students an opportunity to get acquainted with representatives of the medical engineering profession, learn about the labour market in this field, get advice on choosing a place of study, employment prospects and career development.

The students could get more detailed information at exhibition stands of companies they were interested in working for.
